What's the full picture?
Alcohol absorbs through mucous membranes rapidly. Cats are much more sensitive to alcohol than humans or dogs — even a few millilitres of 70% sanitiser can cause wobbliness, disorientation, vomiting, and in larger amounts, respiratory depression.
